Guest Services

The Kentucky State Fair is ready to help and serve you – and make sure you have a great time when you’re here!

ACCESSIBILITY

All restrooms are wheelchair accessible and all buildings can be accessed by ramps. Elevators are located in the lobby of Broadbent Arena and on the east and west concourses of Freedom Hall. There are disabled/elderly drop-off points designated at the southwest corner of South Wing and the northeast corner of N Lot. For accessible seating at a concert or the horse show, call (502) 367-5144 or 1-800-231-8085 and request accessible seating. For accessible seating in Cardinal Stadium, ask an usher to direct you to the accessible seating area.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICES

Enter the administration offices by using the far left doors at Freedom Hall’s front entrance. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and the phone number is (502) 367-5000.

APP

Download the excitement of Kentucky State Fair’s new app! Personalize visits to the Fair and create schedules for the music, food, exhibits, shows and animals you want to experience. The free app is packed with all kinds of interactive features.

BABY CARE FACILITIES

Facilities for nursing mothers and diaper changing are identified by “baby changing station” signs on restrooms in the lobbies of South Wing and West Hall, on the first floor of Freedom Hall, and on the east and west sides of Freedom Hall’s second floor. The “rock ‘n’ relax baby care center” is in the South Wing Kids Club area and is sponsored by Baptist Health and the Louisville Metro Health Department.

CHECK CASHING/MONEY MACHINES

No personal checks are cashed on the grounds. You’ll find ATMs throughout the Fair: outside West Hall Lobby, in South Wing B Lobby, inside Freedom Hall’s front entrance, in Broadbent Arena’s concourse, in North Wing, Cardinal Stadium grounds and in Thrill Ville. Bring plenty of cash because – due to the large crowds – ATMs sometimes run out of funds before the day is over.

FIRST AID

Stations are staffed by the American Red Cross and are in the east foyer of Freedom Hall. A first aid station is also open just off the South Wing B Lobby from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. A first aid station with an EMS unit is outdoors, adjacent to the west end of West Hall, and is open 24 hours a day.

CONCERT GATES OPEN

Entrance into Cardinal Stadium and Freedom Hall – for free and paid concerts – is approximately an hour-and-a-half before an event starts.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Bad weather can close, delay or cancel some attractions and events. In the event of inclement weather, the Kentucky State Fair does not offer refunds or rainchecks. But with 1.2 million feet of indoor space, you’re sure to find shows, exhibits, shopping and attractions to entertain yourself.

INFORMATION BOOTHS

Yellow information booths are stationed throughout the Fair, staffed with experienced personnel ready to answer your questions about exhibitor locations, schedules, special events, maps and more. Sponsored by Kentucky Farm Bureau.

LOST & FOUND ITEMS

All items found and turned in to Kentucky State Fair staff will be taken to the Kentucky Exposition Center Security Office (next to the ticket office). It is open 24 hours a day. Call (502) 367-5360.

THE LOST CHILD CENTER

Sponsored and staffed by the Kentucky State Police, a Lost Child Center is located at the Kentucky State Police command post. It is open 24 hours a day. If you become separated from your child, he or she will be taken to the command post when found.

PAGING

The paging system only broadcasts to outdoor areas of the Fair, and only for medical emergencies. We recommend you designate a meeting area before you arrive, in case you or anyone in your group gets separated.

RV PARKING

Overnight RV parking is allowed only in the Kentucky Exposition Center F LOT, behind Cardinal Stadium. Parking is $20 per night and sites are available on a first come, first served basis. Electric and water hookups are not available. Contact the access control office at (502) 367-5380 for more information.

STATE FAIR TRAMS

Rides are free on State Fair Trams, which run daily every 15 to 30 minutes from 9 a.m. to midnight.

SMOKING AREAS

The Kentucky Exposition Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is only allowed outdoors.

TICKET OFFICE

Purchase tickets for paid concerts and evening performances of the World’s Championship Horse Show at the ticket office, located next to the main entrance of Freedom Hall. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m
