Guest Services

The Kentucky State Fair is ready to help and serve you – and make sure you have a great time when you’re here!

ACCESSIBILITY

All restrooms are wheelchair accessible and all buildings can be accessed by ramps. Elevators are located in the lobby of Broadbent Arena and on both the east and west concourses of Freedom Hall. There are also disabled/elderly drop-off points designated at the southwest corner of South Wing and the northeast corner of N Lot. For accessible seating at a concert or the horse show, call (502) 367-5144 or 1-800-231-8085 and request accessible seating. For accessible seating in Cardinal Stadium, ask an usher to direct you to the accessible seating area.

ADMINISTRATION OFFICES

Administration offices are located at the far left doors at the front entrance of Freedom Hall. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily and the phone number is (502) 367-5000.

BABY CARE FACILITIES

Facilities for nursing mothers and diaper changing are identified by “baby changing station” signs on restrooms in the lobbies of South Wing and West Hall, on the first floor of Freedom Hall, and on the east and west sides of the second floor of Freedom Hall. The “rock ‘n’ relax baby care center” is in the South Wing Kidz Biz area and is sponsored by Baptist Health and the Louisville Metro Health Department.

BICYCLE POLICY

Bicycle racks are provided free of cost at all gates, but riders must provide their own locks. The Kentucky State Fair bicycle corral is located at Gate 4 in H Lot. The bicycle racks at Gate 6 off Preston are designed to meet the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals national standards.

CHECK CASHING/MONEY MACHINES

No personal checks are cashed on the grounds. Six ATMs are available: one is outside the West Hall lobby, one is in the South Wing B lobby, one is inside the front entrance of Freedom Hall, one is in the Broadbent Arena concourse, and two are on the Midway. Fairgoers should plan to bring plenty of cash for the day. Due to the large volume of use during the fair, ATMs may occasionally be unable to dispense funds.

CONCERT GATES OPEN

Entrance into Cardinal Stadium and Freedom Hall – for free and paid concerts – is approximately an hour-and-a-half before an event starts.

FIRST AID

Stations are staffed by the American Red Cross and are in the east foyer of Freedom Hall. A first aid station is also open just off the South Wing B lobby from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. A first aid station with an EMS unit is outdoors, adjacent to the west end of West Hall, and is open 24 hours a day.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY

Some attractions and events may be closed, delayed or canceled due to inclement weather. The Kentucky State Fair does not offer refunds or rainchecks for inclement weather. With 1.2 million feet of indoor exhibit space, many of the shows and attractions will not be impacted by weather.

INFORMATION BOOTHS

Yellow information booths are stationed throughout the fair, staffed with experienced personnel ready to answer your questions about exhibitor locations, schedules, special events, maps and more. Sponsored by Kentucky Farm Bureau.

LOST & FOUND ITEMS

All items found and turned in to Kentucky State Fair staff will be taken to the Kentucky Exposition Center Security Office (next to the ticket office). It is open 24 hours a day. Call (502) 367-5360.

THE LOST CHILD CENTER

Sponsored and staffed by the Kentucky State Police, a Lost Child Center is located at the Kentucky State Police command post across from the Midway on Pavilion Drive. It is open 24 hours a day. If you become separated from your child, he or she will be taken to the command post when found.
