All restrooms are wheelchair accessible and all buildings can be accessed by ramps. Elevators are located in the lobby of Broadbent Arena and in the east and west concourses of Freedom Hall. Wheelchair / Stroller Rentals
Wheelchairs, wagons, strollers and electric scooters can be rented at the kiosk on the South Wing C sidewalk and next to ADA parking in the N Lot in front of the Rally's trailer. A driver’s license is required for all rentals. Prices are $12 for wheelchairs, $10 for strollers (or $16 for two), $14 for wagons and $50 for electric scooters (or $13/hour). Prices cover rentals for the entire day, unless noted otherwise. A driver’s license is required for all rentals.
Rides are free on State Fair Trams, which run daily every 15 to 30 minutes from 9 a.m. to midnight. Check the app for details and locations of tram stops.
Yellow information booths are stationed throughout the Fair, staffed with experienced personnel ready to answer your questions about exhibitor locations, schedules, special events, maps and more. Sponsored by Kentucky Farm Bureau.
Taxi, Uber and Lyft
Taxi, Uber and Lyft drop-off is located on the plaza adjacent to Lot N. The tram stop and accessibility vendor are nearby. Gate 2 provides the easiest access to the drop-off point. Lyft and Uber with prominent stickers are permitted to enter without paying a parking fee but must stop at the payment booth so fairgoers can pay gate admission.

Enter the administration offices by using the far left doors at Freedom Hall’s front entrance. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and the phone number is (502) 367-5000.
Purchase tickets for evening performances of the World’s Championship Horse Show at the Box Office, located next to the main entrance of Freedom Hall. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Baby Care Facilities
Areas for diaper changing are identified by “baby changing station” signs on restrooms in the lobbies of the South Wing and West Hall, on the first floor of Freedom Hall, and on the east and west sides of Freedom Hall’s second floor. The “Rock 'N Relax Baby Care Center” provides a private location for nursing and diaper changing. Located in South Wing B 100. Check Cashing / Money Machines
We are unable to cash personal checks. You’ll find ATMs located throughout the Fair: outside West Hall Lobby, in South Wing B Lobby, inside Freedom Hall’s front entrance, in Broadbent Arena’s concourse, in North Wing Lobby, and in Thrill Ville.
Stations are staffed by the American Red Cross and are in the east foyer of Freedom Hall. A first aid station is also open next to the South Wing B Lobby from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. A first aid station and EMS unit is outdoors, adjacent to the west end of West Hall, and is open 24 hours a day.
Lost & Found Items
All items found or turned in to Kentucky State Fair staff will be taken to the Kentucky Exposition Center Security Office (next to the Box Office). It is open 24 hours a day. Call (502) 367-5360.
Did you know Kentucky state law permits students who attend the Fair to receive one excused absence? If your child misses school for 2018 Kentucky State Fair and you would like an excused absence letter please visit the administrative office of the Kentucky Exposition Center which are located on the left side of the front porch of Freedom Hall. If you have any questions please call (502) 367-5156.
The Kentucky State Fair provides many educational enhancement opportunities (EEO) for students across the Commonwealth in the follow subject areas: Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, Science, and the Arts. The EEO may be eligible to cover absences from school. Please contact your school administration for more information. If your administration has questions, please direct them to call 502-367-5102.
Lost Person Center
Sponsored and staffed by Kentucky State Police, a Lost Center is located at the Kentucky State Police command post. It is open 24 hours a day. If you become separated from your loved one they will be taken to the command post when found. Our paging system only broadcasts to outdoor areas of the Fair, and only for medical emergencies. We recommend having a designated meeting area when you arrive, in case you or anyone in your group gets separated.
Inclement Weather Policy
Bad weather can close, delay or cancel some attractions and events. In the event of inclement weather, the Kentucky State Fair does not offer refunds or rainchecks. But with 1.3 million feet of indoor space, you’re sure to find shows, exhibits, shopping, and attractions to entertain yourself.
Overnight RV parking is allowed only in the Kentucky Exposition Center F-Lot, behind Cardinal Stadium. Parking is $20 per night and sites are available on a first come, first served basis. Electric and water hookups are not available. Contact (502) 367-5380 for more information.
The Kentucky Exposition Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is only allowed outdoors.
