Not all applications will be approved. Media credentials and permits are limited.
Applicants will be notified no later than August 7, 2023.
Attention Freelancers
An editor’s letter (emailed by the editor from an official publication email address to neal.jones@kyvenues.com) is required for all affiliated freelance photographers and writers. We will not accept ANY applications from freelance photographers or writers who are not officially on assignment for a publication. We will not be accepting applications from filmmakers.
College & Online-Only Publications
Web-Based publications will only be considered for photo passes/photo pit access if their "Unique Viewers Per Month" exceeds 20,000 and we can verify with a reputable web traffic tracker. College publications can apply to send writers or photographers. Coverage from publication must include writing beyond a byline.

Additional Credential Requests
World's Championship Horse Show (WCHS) Credentials
A unique credential is required for media covering the Horse Show. Any altering or abuse of the badge will result in loss of access privileges to the World's Championship Horse Show and Kentucky State Fair.

Mobile Access Vehicle Parking Permit
Mobile access vehicle parking permits are available on a limited basis for satellite trucks, broadcast vans, etc. Non-permitted vehicles can park anywhere on property available to the general public.

Concert Series Photo Coverage

Which Concert Days do you wish to cover?
Visit the concerts page for a list of concerts. Only photographers with SLR, interchangeable lens cameras will be allowed . There will be no 'point and shoot' cameras permitted. The State Fair is entitled to all photography taken within the Kentucky State Fair. If you need to know the concert act and it is limiting your ability to complete the form, you can press the "save and continue later" button at the bottom of the form to save your progress and return to the form.
