Fair history reflects the challenges we have faced over the past century: to fight war and disease, to shift from rural toward increasingly more urban. The Fair has become the training ground, the testing site, and the public showcase for the Commonwealth’s progress.

Bring your school to the Fair! Educational opportunities and engaging exhibits will be set up for students and teachers to learn about Kentucky. The Kentucky State Fair brings all corners of the state together to celebrate what makes us unique. As a teacher, we plan to provide you with a healthy list of educational resources in preparation for your tour.
For the safety and awareness of the general public, the Kentucky State Fair has put in place a number of event policies. These policies will be modified and changed in order to best serve the guests of the Kentucky State Fair.
