For the safety and awareness of the general public, the Kentucky State Fair has put in place a number of event policies. These policies will be modified and changed in order to best serve the guests of the Kentucky State Fair.
Minor Attendance Policy
Fairgoers under 18 years old entering after 6 p.m. must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older. Proof of age is required. IDs will be verified at the gate. In addition to this new policy, there will be increased lighting and law enforcement personnel during peak hours.
COVID-19 Risk Policy
We have taken enhanced health and safety measures. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting the Kentucky Exposition Center, the Kentucky International Convention Center, and any other Kentucky State Fair Board property. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. We cannot guarantee you will not be exposed during your visit. By visiting THE KENTUCKY EXPOSITION CENTER, THE KENTUCKY INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTER, OR ANY OTHER KENTUCKY STATE FAIR BOARD PROPERTY, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
Policies that exist for attendees will be made available here.
