World’s Championship Horse Show

Miniature Horse Show
A true crowd pleaser, the Miniature Horse Show spans three days and features equestrian minis competing in more than 80 classes based on size, gender and age. Taking place on Thursday August 16 at 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 17 at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 18th at 6:00 p.m. in Broadbent Arena.

Quarter Horse Show
The show includes events sanctioned by the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA), the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA), the National Reining Horse Association (NRHA), and The Ranch Sorting National Championships (RSNC).
Competitions include cutting, reining, western pleasure, horsemanship, trail, showmanship, halter, hunter under saddle, equitation, ranch sorting, team penning, barrel racing, pole bending, rescue race, flag race, speed race and roping events.
This year’s show takes place August 7-11, 2018. Show admission is free and open to the public in Broadbent Arena and Freedom Hall. Parking is $10 per vehicle at the gate.

4-H Horse Show
The show features hunter (flat and fences), saddleseat (trotting), walking, mountain, racking, contest, western and miniature events. Dates for the 2018 Kentucky State Fair- 4-H Horse show are July 1-7, 2018. Show admission is free and open to the public. Parking is $10 per vehicle at the gate.
