All restrooms are wheelchair accessible and all buildings can be accessed by ramps. Elevators are located in the lobby of Broadbent Arena and in the east and west concourses of Freedom Hall. Wheelchairs, strollers and scooters can be rented at the kiosk on the South Wing C sidewalk and next to ADA parking/Budweiser Pavilion in the N Lot. A driver’s license is required for all rentals. Prices are $25 for wheelchairs, $10 for strollers, and $45 for scooters. Prices cover rentals for the entire day, unless noted otherwise. Not taking reservations. Rentals are on a first come first serve basis. Opens at 9 a.m. each day.
Rides are free on State Fair Shuttles, which run daily every 15 to 30 minutes from 9 a.m. to midnight. Check the app for details and locations of shuttle stops.
Yellow information booths are stationed throughout the Fair, staffed with experienced personnel ready to answer your questions about exhibitor locations, schedules, special events, maps and more. Sponsored by Kentucky Farm Bureau.
Taxi, Uber and Lyft drop-off is located on the plaza adjacent to Lot N. The shuttle stop and accessibility vendor are nearby. Gate 2 provides the easiest access to the drop-off point. Lyfts and Ubers with prominent stickers are permitted to enter without paying a parking fee but must stop at the payment booth so fairgoers can pay gate admission.

Enter the administration offices by using the far left doors at Freedom Hall’s front entrance. Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and the phone number is (502) 367-5000.
Purchase tickets for evening performances of the World’s Championship Horse Show at the box office, located next to the main entrance of Freedom Hall. Hours are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Areas for diaper changing are identified by “baby changing station” signs on restrooms in the lobbies of the South Wing and West Hall, on the first floor of Freedom Hall, and on the east and west sides of Freedom Hall’s second floor. The “Rock 'N Relax Baby Care Center” provides a private location for nursing and diaper changing and is located in South Wing B 100. We are unable to cash personal checks. Locations of ATMs are: outside West Hall Lobby, in South Wing B Lobby, inside Freedom Hall’s front entrance, in Broadbent Arena’s concourse, in North Wing Lobby and in Thrill Ville.
Stations are staffed by the American Red Cross and are in the east foyer of Freedom Hall. A first aid station is also open next to the South Wing B Lobby from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. A first aid station and EMS unit is outdoors, adjacent to the west end of West Hall, and is open 24 hours a day.
All items found or turned in to Kentucky State Fair staff will be taken to the Kentucky Exposition Center Security Office (next to the box office). It is open 24 hours a day. Visit the Lost and Found Online Center here.
Bad weather can close, delay or cancel some attractions and events. In the event of inclement weather, the Kentucky State Fair does not offer refunds or rainchecks. But with 1.3 million feet of indoor space, you’re sure to find shows, exhibits, shopping and attractions to entertain yourself.
Fairgoers under 18 years old entering after 6 p.m. must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older. Proof of age is required. IDs will be verified at the gate.
Sponsored and staffed by Kentucky State Police, a Lost Child Center is located at the Kentucky State Police command post. It is open 24 hours a day. If you become separated from your child they will be taken to the command post when found. Our paging system only broadcasts to outdoor areas of the Fair, and only for medical emergencies. We recommend having a designated meeting area when you arrive in case you or anyone in your group gets separated.
Did you know Kentucky state law permits students who attend the Fair to receive one excused absence? If your child misses school for the Kentucky State Fair and you would like an excused absence letter please visit the administrative office of the Kentucky Exposition Center which are located on the left side of the front porch of Freedom Hall. The Kentucky State Fair provides many educational enhancement opportunities (EEO) for students across the Commonwealth in the following subject areas: language arts, social studies, math, science and the arts. The EEO may be eligible to cover absences from school. Please contact your school administration for more information. If your administration has questions, please direct them to call (502) 367-5102.
Overnight RV parking is allowed only in the Kentucky Exposition Center F-Lot. Parking is $20 per night and sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. Electric and water hookups are not available. Contact (502) 367-5380 for more information.
The Kentucky Exposition Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is only allowed outdoors.
