Yes, 4-H Rabbits and 4-H Poultry entries must be submitted through your county 4-H agents to UK for the 2020 Kentucky State Fair.

Youth Rabbits and Youth Poultry must make entries through the Kentucky State Fair online entry form under the participate>compete page.

Pigeons will not be entered for either show.

We have not changes the number of entries an exhibitor can make into the Fair. Please refer to the Youth Livestock section of the Premium book for the number per market species.

All Open Livestock Shows have been canceled for the 2020 Kentucky State Fair.

There will be a "Largest Pumpkin and Watermelon Contest". Check the schedule for the first of the week.

Unfortunately, you cannot purchase exhibitor tickets without making entries into the fair.

We were unable to order premium books due to delays caused by COVID-19. The Youth Livestock section is available on our website. All other departments are cancelled for the 2020 Kentucky State Fair.

The Kentucky State Fair is the official state fair of Kentucky which takes place at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville.

The Kentucky State Fair is 11 days in August. Look at the top of this website for the dates of the next upcoming Fair.

All restrooms are wheelchair accessible and all buildings can be accessed by ramps. Elevators are located in the lobby of Broadbent Arena and in the east and west concourses of Freedom Hall. Yellow information booths are stationed throughout the Fair, staffed with experienced personnel ready to answer your questions about exhibitor locations, schedules, special events, maps and more. Sponsored by Kentucky Farm Bureau.

Taxi, Uber and Lyft drop-off is located on the plaza adjacent to Lot N. The shuttle stop and accessibility vendor are nearby. Gate 2 provides the easiest access to the drop-off point. Lyfts and Ubers with prominent stickers are permitted to enter without paying a parking fee but must stop at the payment booth so fairgoers can pay gate admission.

Enter the administration offices by using the far left doors at Freedom Hall’s front entrance.

Areas for diaper changing are identified by “baby changing station” signs on restrooms in the lobbies of the South Wing and West Hall, on the first floor of Freedom Hall, and on the east and west sides of Freedom Hall’s second floor.

We are unable to cash personal checks. Locations of ATMs are: outside West Hall Lobby, in South Wing B Lobby, inside Freedom Hall’s front entrance, in Broadbent Arena’s concourse, in North Wing Lobby and in Thrill Ville.

Stations are staffed by the American Red Cross and will be located around the Kentucky State Fair. Additional details details will be available when we get closer to the fair.

All items found or turned in to Kentucky State Fair staff will be taken to the Kentucky Exposition Center Security Office (next to the box office). It is open 24 hours a day. Visit the Lost and Found Online Center here.

Bad weather can close, delay or cancel some attractions and events. In the event of inclement weather, the Kentucky State Fair does not offer refunds or rainchecks.

Fairgoers under 18 years old entering after 6 p.m. must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 21 years of age or older. Proof of age is required. IDs will be verified at the gate.

Sponsored and staffed by Kentucky State Police, a Lost Child Center is located at the Kentucky State Police command post. It is open 24 hours a day. If you become separated from your child they will be taken to the command post when found. Our paging system only broadcasts to outdoor areas of the Fair, and only for medical emergencies. We recommend having a designated meeting area when you arrive in case you or anyone in your group gets separated.

Did you know Kentucky state law permits students who attend the Fair to receive one excused absence? If your child misses school for the Kentucky State Fair and you would like an excused absence letter please visit the administrative office of the Kentucky Exposition Center which are located on the left side of the front porch of Freedom Hall. The Kentucky State Fair provides many educational enhancement opportunities (EEO) for students across the Commonwealth in the following subject areas: language arts, social studies, math, science and the arts. The EEO may be eligible to cover absences from school. Please contact your school administration for more information. Overnight RV parking is allowed only in the Kentucky Exposition Center F-Lot. Parking is $20 per night and sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. Electric and water hookups are not available. Contact (502) 367-5380 for more information.

The Kentucky Exposition Center is a smoke-free facility. Smoking is only allowed outdoors.
